1.Sampling Procedure

1.1 Introduction

This document gives sampling procedure guidelines to enhance timely and smooth product/fitting development.

Currently the fitting contacts at Sapph Distribution are:

1.2 Required Samples

1.2.1 Proto Samples – first samples based on art work/drawings

Proto samples are using the correct fabric quality/materials. The accessories, colors and/or print are as close as

possible to color standard or art-work. Colors and print do not need approval from Sapph. The proto samples are sent to

the fitting contacts at the Sapph Office in The Netherlands. If M-charts are available, then these are sent together with

the proto samples and sent as a soft copy, attached in the announcement mail of the proto sample shipment.

Requested sizes and quantities:

•Tops –Size: 75B, Qty: 1 piece

•Bottoms –Size: M, Qty: 1 piece

Follow up:

•Fitting comments sent out by Sapph.

•Supplier follows up on fitting comments to produce photo samples and sales samples. The samples are send following

 delivery timelines as requested by Sapph.

1.2.2 Photo Samples – Samples used for photo shoots

Photo samples are using the correct fabric qualities/materials, accessories, color and/or print. Photo samples are sent to

the fitting contacts at the Sapph Office in the Netherlands. The M-charts of the photo are sent as a soft copy in the

announcement mail of the photo sample shipment.
