5.3 Audits

Compliance with RPCDC 850 requirements is monitored and controlled through audits performed internally by L’OREAL on randomly chosen items. Suppliers are not involved, except if non-conformities are detected.

APPENDIX 1: CRITERIA AND PROCESS GUIDELINES FOR DOCUMENTARY TESTS

Pre-requisite

0The  documentary  tests  must  be  conducted  by  a  third-party  testing  laboratory  as  indicated  by L’OREAL.

0The Supplier is encouraged to provide any relevant supporting documentation issued by other reputable third-party testing laboratories.

0Testing costs must be included in the unit price of the products when communicated to the Buyer.

0The time required for documentary tests must be included in the delivery planning and communicated to the Buyer upon order placement.

0The results of the documentary tests delivered by the third-party testing laboratory must be available to L’OREAL prior to order despatch.
