ANNEX 6 : RESISTANCE TO PERFUME

1)  General information

This test is recommended for articles likely to come in contact with a perfume.

2)Equipment

Standard formula G1, consisting (in weight) of:

20% (± 5%) oil of turpentine (CAS: 8006-64-2)

10% (± 5%) ethyl phtalate (CAS: 84-66-2)

70% (± 5%) 95°ethanol (CAS: 64-17-5)

Spraying/soaking test:

• Dispensing system permitting the spraying of formula G1 (case of spraying test) or crystallizer (case of soaking test)
