Garment Presentation when shipped in cartons  用纸箱装运时的服装介绍

Factory must refer to packing instructions from Production department to determine how the garments are

packed inside the carton whether its shipped as:

1. “HANGING”- garment on a hanger in carton where the polybag is the length of the garment plus 6”.

* If Women Sleepwear garments are on a 17” or 19” hanger then the polybag is 20” wide times

the length of the garment plus 6” past the hem of the garment after folded up and sealed

with 2-3 pieces of tape.

* Do not use rubber bands around the hooks of the hangers

* Hanger hooks must all be facing towards the left direction (when facing front of garment).

* When Robes or Gowns are laid in carton, fold should be made as close to the bottom of the

garment as possible to avoid noticeable wrinkling when it reaches the store.

* When Long PJ or Short PJ sets are laid in carton, the fold is at below the hem of the PJ top

so that the short or pant gets folded once behind the top.

* Long PJ’s, Short PJ’s, Separate Tops must have the top completely laid flat so that the hem

of the top does not get folded to avoid wrinkling of the garment.

2. “FLAT FOLD” – garment folded without a hanger in a carton.

(usually shipped folded so that account can receive and hang the garments on their own hangers when

it reaches the store)

* Pants are folded in 3 folds. Tops, gowns or robes are folded with sleeves folded towards the

Inside. Garments are then folded to fit into polybag

3. “PRESENTATION FOLD” – garment folded in a presentation ribbon or bellyband without a hanger in a carton.

Optional accessories for presentation fold (packing instructions from Production department will indicate

what is required for each order):

* Bellyband or presentation ribbon wrapped around the garment fold

* Size sticker strips might be requested to be on the fold of the garment so that customer can see the size as

it is piled on the table in the stores. Must make sure the adhesive is not too strong that will cause color to

be removed from the garment when peeled off.

o  Placement will be advised in the packing instructions from Production department

* Silhouette tag may be used so that customer can see what the style looks like. Sometimes bellyband with

silhouette on it is used therefore no need for silhouette tag would be required. On the other hand,if

presentation ribbon is used on the garment then Brand Manager may instruct Production to use a silhouette tag.

* Cardboard insert might be requested to maintain the fold of the garment and preventing it from being flimsy

or unraveling. Quality (thickness) and size is indicated in packing instructions from Production department

* Standard size is usually 9.5” x 12.5” unless otherwise specified by packing instructions from

Production department

* Komar has a standard quality and a thicker quality (thicker quality is usually referred to as

the one used for Costco account).

4. “HANGER FOLD” - garment on a hanger then folded into a polybag which is usually 12 x18”

5. Cuddl Dud Wrapboards – garments are folded usually on a small black hanger and has a presentation

wrapboard around the fold of the garment.

6. PDQ tray carton – an assortment of styles, colors and sizes selected by buyer sold in a PDQ

tray carton once it reaches the stores such as Sam’s Club.
