8) How to pack a GOH container
如何包装挂衣箱货柜
Container should be clean and must be lined with plastic to prevent the garments from getting dirty
Start loading on farthest bar from door opening on the right side of the container. Load across that
bar filling to the left side of the container. Return to right side to start the next row.
Do not put hangers into the loop between the first knot and the support column.
Group garments in bundles not to exceed 6 units per bundle unless a prepack quantity exceeds this
number. Place only 1 or 2 bundled in each loop. This is based on the fabrication of the garment.
The garments should hang straight down.
Do not put garment into knots that will allow the garments to touch the floor. The plastic bag may
touch slightly. Related skus must kept together and only located in the container once. Style with
all colors and sizes must be sequentially loaded. Sizes should be kept in standard size sequence.
Load by style, color, then size. Place EDI label onto the a standard sheet of paper. Tape that to
the last garment of that sku loaded into the container. This is then the first garment of this sku
unloaded.
Any boxed goods should load into the tail of the container. If the cartons could fall against the
garments, then load evenly across the floor of the container to avoid this from happening.
When choosing the container size; if the majority of the container will be GOH, then a GOH container
size must be selected.
